The territorial police in Mubende are actively investigating murder of Nyansiyo Ignitious aka Muhwezi a male adult and resident of Ngowa Lc1 Katente Parish Kiyuni subcounty Mubende district that occured on 07/09/2024 in Ngowa Lc1.
Preliminary findings indicate both the suspect(Mutatina Khalisiti )and the deceased are both residents of Ngowa Lc1.
The suspect is a distant lumber working in Kagadi district where he spends most of the time but left his wife at Ngowa Lc1.
It is alleged Nyansiyo (deceased) had been having extra marital affair with the wife of Mutatina (suspect).
Findings also indicate that during the night of 07/09/2024 , at about 2100 hrs ,the suspect returned home and found the Nyansiyo(deceased) in bed with his wife and he allegedly stabbed him to death using a knife.
However after the gruesome incident both the suspect and wife fled the scene.
“We were informed about the incident and immediately responded to the scene of crime. Body of the deceased was found lying in the suspect’s marital bed. His body has been taken to Mubende regional refferal hospital for Postmortem” .Says SP Racheal Kawala the Wamala Region Police Spokesperson.
Efforts are on to have suspect arrested and brought to book.asking any one with information that can lead us to the arrest of the suspect can call 0393241007 or report to any nearby police station. SP Kawala urges.
